HARTFORD, CT (October 14, 2019)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Chelsea R. Sousa as an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. As a member of the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group, Ms. Sousa represents clients in the areas of collections, foreclosures, evictions and commercial and landlord-tenant matters. She is also a member of the Firm's Community Banking and Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality practice groups.
Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Ms. Sousa was a Law Clerk in the Office of Legal Research at the State of Connecticut Superior Court. She was also a Legal Intern for the Connecticut State Attorney's Office for Middlesex County and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Ms. Sousa received her B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, Ms. Sousa was the Articles Editor for the Connecticut Law Review.
