On October 20, Suzanne Brown Walsh, Richard Marone and Alfred Casella attended the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC)’s New England Regional Meeting in Mystic, Connecticut.
As part of the program, Suzy presented on the topic of, “Current Developments in Digital Assets, Electronic Documents, Cryptocurrency and AI.” Her presentation provided a brief overview of recent developments affecting the management and disposition of digital assets, electronic documents and Artificial Intelligence as they affect the practice of trust and estate law.
The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel is an organization of trust and estate lawyers and law professors in the United States and around the world. Suzy, Richard and Alfred are active ACTEC Fellows – leading members of the trust and estate profession who have made valuable contributions to the T&E field.
Additionally, Suzy serves on ACTEC's Board of Regents and is a member of the Program, Digital Property and State Laws Committees. She is the ACTEC Liaison to the Uniform Law Commission.
