Murtha Cullina represented Sullivan Tire as it transitioned the ownership of the company to a newly formed Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The transaction makes Sullivan Tire one of the largest employee-owned companies in New England, with 1,460 employees situated across its 117 locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The sale was announced on November 3, 2023. The team advising Sullivan Tire was led by Tom Vangel and Richard Marone and included Bill Morgan, Meghan Hayden, Patti Boye-Williams and Marcel Bernier.
