Murtha Cullina is pleased to announce the promotion of two of our lawyers to partner, Julia Boisvert in the Health Care and Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice Groups and Matthew Ray in the Business and Finance Department and Real Estate Practice Group. The promotions were effective as of January 1, 2023.

- Julia Boisvert (Hartford, CT) represents both for-profit and tax-exempt health care providers, including provider practices, solo providers, and social service organizations, as well as a diverse array of tax-exempt entities, including family foundations, public charities and advocacy organizations, with a focus on cutting edge projects. Julia advises clients on regulatory, corporate and business matters, including organization formation, mergers and other strategic collaborations, governance, detailed contracting and navigating the regulatory complexity of the health care and tax-exempt landscapes.
- Matthew Ray (Boston, MA) represents both financial institutions and commercial borrowers in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of middle-market C&I, asset-based and commercial real estate credit facilities. Matt also has a general commercial real estate practice representing sponsors and developers in connection with acquisitions, dispositions and development of commercial properties as well as the representation of both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and drafting of lease agreements pertaining to all types of commercial properties including office, flex, retail, restaurant and warehouse space.
