Murtha Cullina is pleased to welcome Deirdre D. Foley and Zachary J. Gregoricus as associates in the Firm’s Litigation Department and Raquel Herrera-Soto and Arielle M. Smitt as associates in the Regulatory Department.
Ms. Deirdre Foley is a member of the Construction Practice Group. She has experience handling all aspects of litigation, from onset to resolution. She handles construction, product liability, professional liability and insurance coverage matters for clients. Previously, Ms. Foley served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Essex County District Attorney’s office. She received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from College of the Holy Cross. Ms. Foley is resident in the Firm’s Boston office.
Mr. Zachary Gregoricus is a member of the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. He represents clients on complex civil litigation and bankruptcy matters and has extensive experience counseling clients in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. In addition, Mr. Gregoricus represents clients in a wide variety of business and commercial matters in state and federal courts. He received his J.D. cum laude from New England Law where he was Symposium Editor of the New England Law Review. He received his B.S. cum laude from Bentley University. Mr. Gregoricus is resident in the Firm’s Boston office.
Ms. Raquel Herrera-Soto is a member of the Energy, Environmental and Utilities Practice Group. She represents clients in a wide range of energy and environmental matters and has extensive experience with state and federal compliance regulations and permitting processes. Ms. Herrera-Soto previously spent over 10 years working for the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. She received her J.D. with a certificate in Intellectual Property from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.S. cum laude in chemical engineering with a minor in Biotechnology from Lafayette College. Ms. Herrera-Soto is resident in the Firm’s New Haven office.
Ms. Arielle Smitt is a member of the Health Care Practice Group. She represents hospitals, physicians and other health care clients with a wide range of regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. Ms. Smitt received her J.D. magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she was the Executive Managing Editor of the Health Law Journal and was the co-magister of Phi Delta Phi. She received her B.S. in Criminal Justice magna cum laude from Northeastern University. Ms. Smitt is resident in the Firm’s New Haven office.
