Hartford, CT and Boston, MA (March 21, 2018)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to announce that Attorneys Brian W. Fischer and Spencer A. Stone have been promoted to Counsel. Both lawyers are members of the Business and Finance Department.
Brian Fischer’s practice includes mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, financing transactions, corporate governance and shareholder disputes, and licensing and commercial agreements in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, professional service companies, health care, energy and natural resources, and technology.
Mr. Fischer is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section. He earned his L.L.M in Banking and Financial Law from the Boston University School of Law, his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.B.A from the University of Miami.
Spencer Stone counsels and represents clients in connection with a wide array of real estate, lending, corporate and other commercial transactions. His experience includes representation of lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate and asset based financing. He also has significant experience in real estate development, leases, purchases and sales, and other corporate and commercial transactions.
Mr. Stone is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. He is also a member of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Western New England University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts.
