HARTFORD, CT (June 28, 2018)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Juliana García-Uribe to its Immigration Practice Group.
Ms. García-Uribe represents individuals and businesses with various immigration matters, including assisting clients with obtaining immigrant and nonimmigrant visas abroad and helping businesses navigate the Department of Labor's PERM Labor Certification process. She often counsels clients on citizenship and adjustment of status before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and on waivers of inadmissibility. She has extensive experience in drafting and representing clients in family-based petitions. Ms. García-Uribe also represents clients who have been victims of crimes in their U Visa Petitions and she represents victims of domestic violence in their VAWA petitions with USCIS. In addition, she represents clients in removal proceedings in immigration court.
Ms. García-Uribe received her J.D. from DePaul University School of Law and her B.A. from University of Chicago.
Ms. García-Uribe will be assisting Partner Dana R. Bucin, the Chair of the Murtha Cullina Immigration Practice Group. The Immigration Practice Group provides comprehensive immigration services nationwide and internationally, handling a full range of immigration matters for corporate clients, small businesses and individuals.
