Litigation associate Julie Lavoie was honored at the New England Legal Awards dinner on September 21 as a New Leader in the Law. This category recognizes lawyers under 40 who have excelled in their practices.
Since joining the firm in 2021, Julie has taken the lead on three significant pro bono matters. She devotes much of her time to research, analysis and drafting for numerous clients, including municipal clients. She has drafted motions at the trial and appellate state court level and in federal district court.
Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Julie was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hartford Superior Court and for the Honorable Eliot D. Prescott at the Connecticut Appellate Court.
