Murtha Cullina LLP has named Stephanie Sprague Sobkowiak as Chair of the Regulatory Department.
The Regulatory Department includes attorneys who represent clients in all aspects of health care, long-term care, municipal, immigration, land use, energy, environmental and utilities law.
Ms. Sobkowiak continues to be the Co-Chair of the Firm’s Health Care Practice Group. She represents health systems, hospitals, physicians, physician groups and other clients in the health care industry. Her practice includes assisting those clients with a wide range of compliance, regulatory, general business, managed care, risk management and reimbursement issues, including fraud and abuse, payor contracts, medical staff and credentialing matters, Certificates of Need, and HIPAA and related security breaches.
Ms. Sobkowiak is listed as a leading Healthcare lawyer in Chambers USA and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. She received her B.S. from the University of Delaware and her J.D. from Boston College Law School.
