Connecticut Law Tribune reporter Emily Cousins delved into the “…creation of an unparalleled appellate practice” that will result from the Murtha Cullina and Harris Beach combination. The recent story highlighted the skillsets of Murtha Cullina Partner Daniel J. Krisch, Harris Beach Partners Brian D. Ginsberg and Justice Erin Peradotto (Ret.) and the combination of the two firms

In the story, the attorneys said they are, “using the strong appellate practices already present at each firm to combine brain power and expand their geographic reach at the soon-to-be Harris Beach Murtha.”

The firms announced plans to combine in May and will operate as a fully integrated firm in January 2025.

“Both of our appellate practices will benefit from the breadth of talent that both firms have in terms of litigation and nonlitigation attorneys, because smart people working together are better at solving problems, come up with better solutions and do better work,” Krisch said.

Daniel Krisch leads Murtha Cullina’s Appellate practice and is a member of its Litigation practice. He is a former clerk for Chief Justice Ellen Peters of the Supreme Court of Connecticut.

Brian Ginsberg leads Harris Beach’s national Appellate Practice Group and formerly worked in the New York Solicitor General’s Office as an assistant state solicitor general.

Justice Peradotto is a member of Harris Beach’s Appellate Practice Group and retired associate justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
