Mark Heinzelman recently joined the firm’s Boston office as counsel in the Litigation practice. Mark’s practice focuses on product and premises liability, and general liability defense. Mark has extensive experience defending contractors, insurers and product manufacturers, ranging from independent local businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mark has worked with hotels, restaurants, music venues and movie theaters on a wide range of litigation matters. He also represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation, toxic tort, civil RICO and patent litigation matters.

I joined Murtha because I was attracted to the breadth of the firm’s practice areas and client services, its reputation for delivering exceptional results throughout the Northeast and beyond, and the collegial atmosphere among both attorneys and staff members.
Tell us about your practice.
My practice focuses on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, from contractual disputes, to insurance coverage issues, to product liability and general liability defense. I work most predominately with clients in the hospitality industry, but have represented businesses both large and small in jurisdictions throughout the United States.
What do you enjoy most about being a lawyer?
As a lawyer, I most enjoy learning the specific details about clients’ business operations and offering practical solutions to their most pressing legal needs. I find great satisfaction in partnering with clients to achieve effective results, particularly when a creative strategy is needed to address complex or unique legal issues.
