Murtha Cullina has named Eric J. Gyllenborg chair of the firm's Business Law practice.
The Business Law practice encompasses separate groups comprised of lawyers representing clients on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance and lending, labor and employment, general corporate and securities law, employee benefits and state and federal taxation. Our clients include a broad spectrum of businesses, including corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, sole proprietorships and charitable organizations. They represent all major industry groups, including defense, general manufacturing and distribution, public utility, banking, insurance, construction, health care, computer software, resource recovery and agriculture.
Partner Eric Gyllenborg provides counsel to corporate clients on a wide array of business and finance matters. His practice focuses on general corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, insurance agent and broker business and transactions, commercial lending, private securities offerings, private equity, venture capital, employment and intellectual property law.

He succeeds partner Marcel Bernier in the role. Marcel has practiced corporate, limited liability company and tax law for more than 40 years.
