About the Event:

Employee handbooks are integral to managing the workplace and shaping an employer’s culture. A well-drafted handbook can minimize legal risk, clarify policy and procedure, enhance employee morale and contribute to an employer’s branding. The law concerning employment policies is constantly evolving, requiring ongoing handbook revision. 2018 was an especially busy year in the world of employee policy law, with notable issues like the National Labor Relations Board changing the framework of how More...it analyzes employee policies, and the #MeToo movement forcing employers to reassess anti-harassment policies.

This webinar will analyze the more notable changes in employee policy law over the past year while looking ahead at what changes may be in store for 2019. The hope is that we will highlight issues that will assist you in being proactive regarding your Company’s Employee Handbook, or provide a starting point for employers without a handbook.
