Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to announce that Lisa P. Staron has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford, Inc.  Ms. Staron will serve a two-year term.

The Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford (EBPC Hartford) is an association of professionals who specialize in estate and financial planning for individuals and businesses. 

As an attorney in the Firm’s Trusts and Estates Department, Lisa Staron’s practice includes estate, tax, and business succession planning, and estate and trust administration.

Ms. Staron also has significant experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex trust and estates litigation, including will contests, trustee surcharge and removal litigation, contested accountings, contested conservatorships and guardian proceedings, and trust and will construction actions. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Staron has considerable experience with alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and arbitration.

Ms. Staron is a frequent speaker to local professional organizations and advisor groups.

Ms. Staron is a magna cum laude, Pi Sigma Alpha graduate of the University of Connecticut and received her law degree (tax concentration with honors) from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
